Germ - Asteroid of Sorrow [2011]

Germ is a side project of one of the members from Grey Waters. After about five years of waiting, the appearance of a song entitled 'Raving Mad With Sadness' and studio entering in 2009, he finally released a song from his forthcoming album - which is going to be released later in 2011 - called 'Asteroid of Sorrow'. Sounds spacy, doesn't it? So does the music itself. Although it has some similarities to Grey Waters, especially when it comes to the vocals, it musically definitely has peculiarities. On a Grey Waters interview I recently found, they talked about variety. And well, at least this side project offers you that.

Blindeyes - Compilation [2003 - 2007]

Formed in 1999, Blindeyes from Germany began the recordings for their first release called "Dreadful Row", which was released in 1999, also. In 2003 "Destination Nowhere" came out, followed by "Taolin Tear" in 2005. Altough they've always been melancholic, they changed their style during the years. Despite some Gothic influences in the beginning, I would mark their music as Depressive Rock.

This unofficial compilation contains songs from Destination Nowhere and Taolin Tear plus rehearsal recordings in 2007, short before their split-up.
